Jagdeep Dhankar Career
In 1979, Jagdeep sign in with Bar Council of India as an Advocate. After that In 1990, He was appointed as Senior advocate by by the High Court of Judicature for Rajasthan. He was the most designated Senior Advocate of the Rajasthan state until taking the oath as Governor.
On 30 July 2019, President Ram Nath Kovind appoints him as the Governor of West Bengal. Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court conduct the Oath to Jagdeep at the Raj Bhavan, Kolkata.
During 1989-91, in the 9th Lok Sabha, He was a member of parliament from his hometown Jhunjhunu(Lok Sabha Constituency), representing as Janata Dal. From 1993-1998, He was also a MLA(Member of Legislative Assembly) from Kishangarh, Rajasthan in the 10th Legislative Assembly.
On 16th July 2022 BJP put forward to Jagdeep as the NDA’s candidate for Vice President of India for 2022 election.
