Paul started his football career at the age of 6, playing for US Roissy-en-Brie. It was a few miles south of his hometown. He spent 7 seasons at the club. And later he joined US Torcy, where he served as captain of the club’s U-13 team.
He stayed in Torcy for one year and then joined professional club Le Havre. In his second season at Le Havre, Paul captained its U-16 team to the final phase of its domestic league.
