Anahat is from Delhi. Anahat will be making her Debut in CWG(Commonwealth Games) in the age of 14. She became the first Indian to win the US Junior Open Squash Championship at the age of 13. On 22 December, this championship was held at the Arlen Spectre Centre in Philadelphia.
Anahat Singh Career & Success
Anahat is the Number 1 in India, Asia and Europe in the girls U-13 category and Number 4 in the U-15 category. She has won 40 national circuit titles including two-time national championships.
She sustained her position as Asia’s Number 1 player in the girl’s U-11 category for two years before going to the U-13 category. In 2018, She has won Silver in the Malaysian Junior Open and Bronze at the Asian Juniors.
She won the Scottish Junior Open and in British Junior Open, she reached to finals and won Silver Medal in December 2019.
She started her journey at the age of 6. She played badminton and won many tournaments at Delhi. After that, she started playing squash at the age of 8 and soon became Number 1 in the girls U-11 category.
Anahat has been trained and mentored by former national-level squash players Amjad Khan and Ashraf Hussein. At the same time, her elder sister Amira Singh is also motivates her.
